The period when the freshman gets acquainted with the college life is called accommodative period, and if you want your accommodative period to be not so difficult and long you should:
• Visit the campus before the beginning of the study; it will help you to orient in the campus during the first weeks of your education.
• Buy a map of the city you are going to live at; it will help you to know what and where is situated, and it will not trouble you at all to reach any part of the city you need to.
• Make friends with the roomer before the education, the contact information of your roomer you may find at your university. It will help you to have a good ally during your first days in college.
